Dancing with the Brush is a series created by artist Carl Dalio where he demonstrates his entire painting process set to music. The Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range is located in southern Colorado. Along its lower slopes and adjacent meadows, one might find beautiful vistas sprinkled with homesteads and cattle ranches. This watercolor evolves from a photo artist Carl Dalo took in this amazing environment. Focusing on one area of a larger, mountain scene, Carl begins with a rigorous drawing to capture the essence of the location. With lively brush strokes and heart-stirring mixtures, his passion for the majesty of this vast location is soon revealed on paper.
